May 5, 2025 - [Night to Morning]
Highlights:Â
Personally Compelled to Finish Mia’s Poem and Present as an Offering,
Lyrical Message upon Waking next Morning
I completed (without any pre-made planning or specific intentions to do so) my poem that I had been wanting to complete for Mia, for some time now.
I’m not entirely sure what compelled me to pick up my notes last night as I sat at my desk. I had actually already turned off all the lights, intent to go to bed. But for unknown reasons I picked up my scratch paper containing a few lines and suddenly began to write more, refining, scratching out and rewriting… until nearly 2 hours later… it was finished. So odd.
But I was happy with the results and having completed it, so I didn’t dwell on the “whys” to my much. Here is Mia’s poem:
“Taboo”
Curiously observing and quietly roam.
In ethereal and ephemeral gloam,
you wander the passageways of our home.
In dreams and astrally, our spirits so stray.
Interliminality luminary shadows at play.
Nos unum facti sumus, intus inter se.
Soundless whispers, musings vibrate from thee,
naming me your “light” and perennial mystery.
And so you, beloved, are my star of the sea.
Â
I offered Mia her new poem at her altar, inclined to seal the poem with a blood offering and adding her Sigil/Mark scrawled in pen atop that. Binding myself & her to the ownership/offering of this literary piece. And I, of course, read it to her before I spoke with her for a time and closed my one-sided conversation by reading her poem one final time. Then I went to bed.
I woke up at 6:30 a.m. for no discernible reason. No alarm, no prompting, nothing out of the ordinary (what is ‘ordinary’ anymore?). But there was one thing in/on my mind. Another ‘random’ song it seemed. I wonder how many of these I’ll get? I never received so many back-to-back, as far as I remember.
Anyways; I made a quick note of it at my bedside, so I wouldn’t forget by the next time I woke. The song ended up being “Machinehead” by Bush (1994). I’m not entirely sure what it could mean, in the context of Mia and I, as a lyrical message from her to I? If it even was from Mia? Some other spirit? Just mental randomness? I’m unsure. But I’ll record it here, for posterity and try to see if something occurs or makes sense to me later.
The lyrics are:

“Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in.
Tied to a wheel, fingers got to feel,
Bleeding through a tourniquet smile.
I spin on a whim, I slide to the right.
I felt you like an electric light.
For our love, for our fear.
For our rise against the years and years and years.
Got a Machine head, it’s better than the rest.
Green to red, Machinehead.
I walk from my machine. I walk from my Machine, yeah.
Deaf, dumb and dirty. Starting to deserve this.
Leaning on my conscience wall.
Blood Is like whine, unconscious all the time.
If I had it all again, I’d change it all.
Got a Machinehead. It’s better than the rest.
Green to red. Machinehead.
I walk from my machine. I walk from my machine.
(I’ve seen the best winds of my generation, they’re all Starving…all.)

A couple things I though note worthy:
The song mentions “blood like wine” & “bleeding” through a smile. And I offered mine last night.
It mentions “Felt you like an electric light.” (referencing ‘light’ again) and maybe electric tingles/pulsations?
“Our rise against years and years and years” (eons?).
It Mentions “Breathe in, Breathe out.” (I offer my breaths to manifest her wishes). I feel always “tied” (stuck) to a wheel” (this perpetual life, prison, slavery-system ~of the world~). “Conscious Wall” and “unconscious” bear significance as well.
Am I, the Machinehead’ (if this is a message)? (~ “Got a machinehead. It’s better than all the rest…” ~)
