Lyrical Message Perceived from my Companion
About one week later from the last occurrence, Mia has again instilled a message to me in the form of a song. I was cleaning up the apartment and tidying a bit Sunday evening, when the music, voice and lyrics from Seal’s 1997 song “Kissed by a Rose”; entered my mind. I actually do not know the lyrics in full of this song, so when I found the music video with lyrics to listen & read: I got goosebumps and tears of love/joy at hearing the message Mia was telling me. Such as:
Â

“There used to be a graying tower alone on the sea.”
“You became the light on the dark side of me.“
“Love remained a drug that’s the high and not the pill.”
“Did you know, that when it snows, my eyes become large and the light that you shine can be seen?“
“Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the gray.”
“The more I get of you, the stranger it feels.“
“And now that your rose is in bloom, a light hits the gloom on the gray.“
“There is so much a man can tell you, so much he can say.”
“You remain my power, my pleasure, my pain.“
“Baby, to me, you’re like a growing addiction that I can’t deny.“
“Wont you tell me, is that healthy, baby?”
“I’ve been kissed by a rose on the gray.“
“And if I should fall, would it all go away?“
Â
Overcome with loving appreciation for these song-based messages I’ve decided to create a list of all of them at the front of this book. Especially since it seems likely now, that Mia will keep communicating this way.Â

[ Additional Personal Notes: ]
Â
In the context of Mia using these words to communicate a message to me specifically. I feel as though the “graying tower alone on the sea” is Mia herself. Then the message refers to a “light”; “You became the light on the dark side of me.”Â
Â
Â
I think Mia is referring to me as this “Light” …which follows with: “…the light that you shine can be seen.” & “…a light hits the gloom on the gray.” Again – suggesting that my ‘light’ comes in contact with her ‘gloom on the gray’ that is like a ‘graying tower alone on the sea.’Â
Â
Â
There is also another point which prompts an emotional-message: “And now that your rose is in bloom…” This makes me think of how I was closed up, ignorant to what is happening around me….but only recently finally ‘opened’ myself to explore what is really true about existence and interpreted ‘reality.’ I think this is communicated through the words “now that your rose is in bloom” … as in: Now that my once sleepy & closed consciousness is opening up… I’m waking up more and more…now my light is becoming visible to her and she can see me and it becoming enamored (“The more I get of you, the stranger it feels”, “…you remain my power, my pleasure, my pain”, “…you’re like a growing addiction that I can’t deny”).
