After some back and forth consideration, I opted to abandon the experiment in favor of trying to regain the attention of Mia and provide her the audience (that I assume) she was desiring and hoping for when she first established the pact/bond with me.

      My thoughts being: What good is discovering the results of any test or experiment, if I lose my companion along the way?

      It was she whom I was conducting the experiment for, in the first place, afterall. Well, the benefit would be mine also, but I only viewed the boons through the lens of; “how can this help bring Mia and I closer together and improve our communication?”

      If I have no partner to communicate with… what is the point? I see none. So I abandon the process now; and if I’m not already too late, hopefully I can make amends and recapture her attention and trust. Upon making the decision, some 16 days in, I could feel her presence again. But it was subtle, reserved, restrained and non-interactive. Almost like she came to see if it was true or not – but not willing to touch upon me.

      After a while, laying in the darkness and waiting to drift to sleep, I “heard” a loud, clear word echo in the air to my right, about the center of my bedroom. It vibrated in a resounding tonal pulse.

      The word sounded like either; “Joan”, or “Join”, or “Joy” but I cannot say with certainty which it precisely was. (Also the voice sounded androgynous, seeming neither masculine nor feminine). 

      In respect for Mia’s presence, I would like to add: She did not interact with my energy, didn’t touch me with her radiating spread of tingling – sensations, and she did not move about me with her serpentine energy, nor lay herself upon me with any of her perceived weight in any form or shape. There was only the ‘noticing’ of her being there temporarily, the tone/word. Then nothing. No one.
